What You’ll Do

Perform complete digital inspections and high-level testing & analysis and repairs across:
- Engine performance
- Electrical & emissions
- Brakes, steering & suspension
- Driveline & cooling systems
- HVAC & exhaust
- Diagnose, road test, and repair vehicles to the highest standard.
- Work efficiently in a full schedule, high-volume shop without sacrificing quality.
- Collaborate with advisors and teammates to ensure clear communication and top-tier customer care.
- Maintain a professional, organized bay and use shop-provided equipment responsibly.

- 2 full-time Service Advisors: they estimate, sell tickets, and order parts—no wasted time at the counter.
- Dedicated parts manager: ensures accuracy and timely delivery.
- Quality Control techs and lube techs: handle oil changes, quick service, and support so you’re handed jobs ready to go.
- On-site ownership & management: no red tape, problems handled quickly.
- All-digital shop: faster approvals, higher ARO, no paper bottlenecks.
- Team environment: knowledge-sharing, support, and training trips (Vision, NHRA Nationals, French Lick).
- State-of-the-art tools: scopes, diagnostic devices, specialty tools, and subscriptions (AllData, Identifix, Motologic).
Requirements
- 5+ years in an automotive repair facility (required).
- Own professional-grade tools.
- Strong background in diagnostics, drivability, and use of bi-directional scanners.
- Lab scope experience is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Punctual, reliable attendance.
- Team-oriented with solid organizational skills.
- ASE certifications preferred (not required—training and testing support provided).

About Us
Edward and Brandi Caswell, owners of Fast Lane Auto Repair and Fast Lane Auto Repair Plus recently took over the business during the summer of 2024 when the shop’s previous owner and good friend Tony Lane approached them with a change in plans for his future. As a fellow business owner and car enthusiast in the automotive industry, Tony knew that the couple was the right fit to take Fast Lane to the next level.
Edward and Brandi bring over 10 years of experience to the Owensboro community with their current shop Full Throttle Automotive located in Evansville, IN. The dream of Full Throttle was born after a side gig in their garage became more than their home could handle. Leaving Edward’s teaching career behind with minimal funding and having little business background, they were able to manage their business and employees without ever going into debt. They found that honesty, transparency, passion, and prayer quickly allowed them to become one of the Tri-state’s most reputable auto repair shops.
Over the past several years Edward has dedicated his time to gaining wisdom from the Lord and men’s study group, as well as seeking knowledge from other respectable leaders in the automotive industry that have helped him grow both personally and professionally. Edward believes in maintaining efficiency by empowering his employees to carry out the right systems and processes. With the help of their amazing crew, aka “family”, and the support of their customers, Full Throttle has received multiple Reader’s Choice Awards for the tri-states best in auto repair, oil change service, and tire center along with being a Carfax top-rated center, Napa Gold Certified shop, and the 2024 AAA top shop of the year in the nation.
